Two things, either

a) Lenny writes down all the years he's started threads for on a piece of paper he keeps you in his wallet.

or

b) Lenny has a mild dose of 'Rainman' savant syndrome and remembers them all in his head.

1975.

My big brother died and my sister was given the duty of telling me.

I was in the bath and I cried until the water was stony cold.

Which was a bit of a cunt really.

Re: 1975
My first memory is from 1975. My Mum made me a claret and blue top hat and I was sent to an FA Cup street party round the corner from my grandparents' chip shop on Prince Regent Lane (Zigmans). I sat down and immediately complained that I didn't like the cheese sandwiches. I was two-and-a-half and the first sentient thought I can remember featured West Ham and disappointment.

We used to have boxing bouts in a made up ring on the Green on our Estate... i went 5 and unbeaten in that year... U10's... not bad considering I was 8 at the time... can't imagine that type of thing happening nowadays... apart from that... JAWS and my first ever away game (Arsenal 2-0 QF FA Cup)... I thought they was all going to be like that day...
